Camp Facilities

The site is situated on one of the fields of our Ballamoar Farm where outside of the TT and MGP we graze either sheep or cattle or grow wheat. The site is set amongst gorgeous countryside with a view towards our other fields in the nearby hills.

We are lucky to have plenty of space and Ballamoar campsite is the ideal place for individuals, groups or families with kids. When you get here you can choose your own area or ask our advice if you want a more 'out of the way' spot.

Being 'inside' the TT course, the camp site is ideally situated being so near the village with a pub, shop, post office and of course your main reason for coming, TT action. Should you want to go elsewhere, even during race times you can get to the Mountain Road and many or most other spectator spots to view the action. Via the Druidale Road over the hills you can get to Douglas, the Ferry port, the airport or virtually anywhere on the Island. Have a look at the TT Map and the Island Map to see for yourself how convenient our situation is. For instruction on 'How to Find us' we have added a map with travel directions from the IOM Steampacket in Douglas and also from the Airport.

Ballaugh Glen is also a popular walking and hiking spot. From the site it is a 10 minute walk to a beautiful forrested area known as Ballaugh Plantation. Ballaugh Beach is a ten minute ride away - the ideal spot to relax and blow away those cobwebs!
