Local Facilities
2 Minute walk from the Ballamoar Campsite gets you to The Raven. Our local pub is the hub for the village with local beers served by landlord Alan and great food (including delicious Thai dishes) by landlady Naviya.
The Raven has plenty of parking space and a terrace from which to watch the bikes flying acrros the famous Ballaugh hump-backed bridge racing towards Sulby from as close a distance to the TT course as you can get.

Live TT radio is also transmitted outside and inside the pub you can also follow the races on 2 large TV monitors - more >>>

Ballaugh Parish is an old village of about 1000 inhabitants, 7 miles west of Ramsey. Ballaugh is one the main TT crossing points, open between some races. If you are brave you could however still cross on foot under Ballaugh bridge when the road is closed. As a favourite spectator point, many fans choose to watch the races from either side of the road. Ballaugh is unusual in that is always accesible even during road closure (via the Glen road or Sandygate)

The village bus stop offers a regular service to all the main towns - more >>>...

Ballaugh One Stop Shop & Post Office.

The public toilets are situated opposit the shop

Halcyon Days is situated 5 minutes on the main road towards Kirk Michael and offers breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinners (during road closures). The races can also be viewed from here.

The Ballaugh area has more than excitement to offer and for relaxation and enjoyment the countryside is everywhere around you. From the Glen Road you can walk or ride to Ballaugh plantation for long or short hikes in the forest. Or take a ride up Druidale, the views are amazing and is a mecca for birdwatchers.
The coast is only a few miles and Ballaugh Beach is one of the many beaches nearby.
